Eric Underwood’s Master Class

As I am hopeless at turning, I went to his master class for pirouette, hoping to get some help. Eric said “I know you [you in general] will make it or not, just by looking at your eyes even before start turning.” You have to determine to make it. You must have a plan of how to do it, where to end up and what to happen after. That will make the first half of the turn. For the other half, you have to get there. Look, focus and get there. Get there!

This isn’t just for dancing, I suppose. I remember the swim scene from Gattaca. Vincent says he never saves anything for the swim back. We have no other choice but to get there, as there is no going back in life.

Enough said, this is how Eric moves.
